Pegasus Equine Training delivers nationally recognised equine and animal care qualifications to students across Australia. You do not need to come to us — our mentoring model means you study where you are. We approve your mentors, support your learning online, and issue your qualification through our partnership with Halo Nation Training (RTO 32485).
You study online from wherever you are in Australia. Practical activities are completed in your own environment — at your workplace, your property, or another suitable location. You will need access to appropriate animals and facilities relevant to your course. We work with you to identify and approve a suitable mentor or supervisor to support and sign off your practical activities. There is no set timetable — you work at your own pace.
Government funding is not currently available for these courses. All enrolments are fee for service.

For entry level horse care workers required to handle horses. Delivered online with a logbook component completed in your own environment under an approved mentor.

For individuals undertaking animal regulatory and management functions in local and state government environments. Covers animal management investigations, holding facilities, community education, and rural and remote community work.

For team leaders, supervisors, and specialist technical roles within an animal care facility — including companion animal, exhibited animal, and wildlife environments. Available with a general, companion animal, or wildlife and exhibited animal specialisation.
